Acosart –H Tablets consist of the active ingredients Losartan Potassium and Hydrochlorothiazide. Losartan Potassium belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). They help to relax the blood vessels which in turn reduce hypertension (lower blood pressure). Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pills) which helps to get rid of extra salt and water. This also helps to reduce blood pressure. There are usually no symptoms of hypertension. The only way of knowing that you have hypertension is to have your blood pressure checked on a regular basis. Blood pressure if not treated for a long period of time can create pressure on heart, kidney and brain and could result in stroke, kidney failure or heart failure. Therefore, it is necessary to maintain healthy lifestyle along with this medicine.

Acosart 25/50 Tablets consist of the active ingredient Losartan Potassium. Losartan Potassium belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Angiotensin is a potent chemical formed in the body which tightens the blood vessels .This narrows the blood vessels which results in an increase in blood pressure. ARBs blocks the angiotensin II from binding to its receptors causing the blood vessels to relax and in turn lower the blood pressure. Acosart – 25/50 is used to

1. Treat Hypertension (high blood pressure).
2. Protect the kidney in hypertensive ( Type II diabetic patient).
3. Treat patients with chronic heart failure (when ACE inhibitors, medicines used to lower blood pressure) is not tolerated or considered unsuitable by your doctor.
4. Decrease the risk of stroke in patients with high risk (thickening of left ventricle of heart and high blood pressure).

ROSVA 5/10/20 Tablets contain the active ingredient called Rosuvastatin. Rosuvastatin belongs to a group of medicines known as ‘statins’, which are lipid (fat) regulating medicines. This medicine is used to lower lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides (a type of fat) in the blood when a low fat diet and life style changes on their own have failed. If high cholesterol in blood is untreated, fatty deposits can build up in walls of blood vessel & makes it narrow. These narrow blood vessels can get blocked and cause heart attack or stroke. ROSVA Tablets is used to correct the levels of fatty substances in the blood called lipids, the most common of which is cholesterol. There are different types of cholesterol found in the blood: ‘bad’ cholesterol (LDL) and ‘good’ cholesterol (HDL). This medicine reduces ‘bad’ cholesterol and increases the ‘good’ cholesterol. It also blocks the body’s production of ‘bad’ cholesterol and improves the body’s ability to remove it from blood. .
